Christianity and European Politics and Society: Jena - March 3-11
This program is open to all interested people as well as students looking for college credit. This program examines the role that religion, specifically Christianity, played in the making of Modern Europe. We will look at the influence that theological ideas had on the culture and politics of the major European powers, and what the consequences of that influence were for the rest of the world, particularly European North America. This course is part of an accredited internship program run jointly between Visible Music College and ISHCR, where students complete course work and participate in a 9-day trip to Germany for historical lectures, and tour places of historical and cultural importance. Enrollment is open to all students with accreditation transfer subject to approval by students host institution. Students will be enrolled in VMC cultural internship course, BTM4083. Students will need to enroll via the VMC website (located below) and ISHCR. Non-student participants need to enroll via ISHCR only.
